David is the Founder and Managing Director of RM-Advisory, bringing more than 35 years of international experience across the mining and minerals sector. He is a trusted advisor to boards, executives, investors, and regulators on high-risk and strategically critical mining decisions.
David specialises in tailings governance, water stewardship, mine life-cycle strategy, and ESG risk management. His career spans senior leadership roles within global consulting firms, where he built and led high-performing mining practices and advised clients across Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific.
Known for his commercial acumen and technical credibility, David provides independent, conflict-free advice focused on strengthening governance, reducing risk, and protecting long-term shareholder value. He regularly supports boards and lenders through technical due diligence, independent reviews, GISTM conformance assessments, and major investment decisions.
